Student work panel
The middle panel shifts between a personal overview, a course view, and an assignment view.
Today overview
When no course is selected, students land on a personal overview. This page is designed to help them decide what needs attention first.
- See overdue assignments and assignments due today.
- See assignments that are pending and waiting to be graded.
- See upcoming assignments for the week ahead.
- Open unread chat threads directly from the overview.
- Check off assigned task items from the same screen.
- Get an all-clear message when nothing urgent is waiting.
Course view
When students open a course, the center panel shows a course header and a course table beneath it.
The course header shows the course title, description, and the current overall percent when grades are available.
- Open a course and review the description and overall score.
- Filter the course by section.
- See section completion markers when every assignment in that section has been graded.
- Work through the assignment table one section at a time.
Assignment view
When students open an assignment, the center panel becomes a focused assignment page with due date, points, score, description, and content.
- Review the due date and points before starting.
- Read the assignment description and supporting materials.
- Open text, files, PDFs, videos, quizzes, and links supplied by the instructor.
- Submit work by URL or file upload.
- Mark the assignment ready to grade when the submission is complete.
- Return later and update the submission if changes are needed.
