How this documentation is organized
Each section mirrors the actual layout of the app. That makes it easier to connect what you read here with what you see on screen.
- Selection Panel explains the left side of the app.
- Work Panel explains the center workspace that changes based on what you select.
- Communications Panel explains the right-side chat, calendar, and task tools.
- Instructor View includes an extra Getting Started guide because instructors do the initial setup work.
Who should start where
If you build courses, enroll students, or create assignments, start with the instructor section. If you mainly receive assignments, submit work, and watch deadlines, start with the student section.
- New instructors should begin with Instructor View > Getting Started.
- Returning instructors can jump straight to Selection Panel or Work Panel.
- Students who are learning the workspace can start with Student View > Work Panel.
