Instructor View
Instructor documentation
The instructor workspace is built around creating structure, keeping courses organized, and staying on top of student progress.
Getting Started
Use this path when you are setting up Graidle for the first time or building out a new course.
Selection Panel
The left panel is where instructors choose what to work on next. It has separate tabs for courses and students.
Work Panel
The middle panel is where the real work happens. It changes based on what you select in the left panel.
Communications Panel
The right panel holds the tools instructors use to stay connected and keep work moving: chat, calendar, and tasks.
The instructor layout at a glance
Instructors use a three-panel workspace. The left panel helps them choose a course or student, the middle panel is where course and assignment work happens, and the right panel keeps communication and planning tools close by.
- Left: Courses and Students tabs.
- Middle: dashboard, course workspace, student view, and assignment editor.
- Right: chat, calendar, and tasks.
When to use each part of the workspace
The fastest way to work is to treat the panels as a flow: choose on the left, work in the middle, and plan or communicate on the right.
- Choose the class or learner in the selection panel.
- Create, edit, grade, or review in the work panel.
- Message, plan, and follow up in the communications panel.
