The student workspace is designed to help students understand what is due, where to submit work, and how they are progressing across courses.
Selection Panel
The student left panel helps students decide whether they want to start from a course or from an assignment.
Work Panel
The middle panel shifts between a personal overview, a course view, and an assignment view.
Communications Panel
The student right panel uses the same three tools as the instructor view, but they support student workflows instead of course setup.

Students also use a three-panel workspace, but the center starts with a personal overview instead of setup controls.
- Left: courses and assignments.
- Middle: today overview, course view, and assignment view.
- Right: chat, calendar, and tasks.
A practical student routine
Students can use the workspace in two main ways: by class or by deadline.
- Start from Courses when focusing on one class at a time.
- Start from Assignments when planning around due dates.
- Use the center panel to read materials and submit work.
- Use the right panel to keep up with messages, dates, and checklists.
