Student Data Commitments

1. Purpose
This page describes how Graidle handles student information in gradebook, assignment, and curriculum workflows for homeschool families, co-ops, and small schools.
2. Core Commitments
- We do not sell student personal information.
- We do not use student personal information for targeted advertising.
- We do not share student personal information with vendors for their own products, marketing, or advertising.
- We use student information only to provide, secure, and improve educational services.
- We limit internal access to student data to authorized personnel with a business need.
- If a vendor helps us operate the service, they may only process the minimum needed data under contract and must maintain reasonable safeguards.
3. Parent and Organization Responsibilities
Account owners are responsible for ensuring they have authority to provide student information and for obtaining parental or guardian consent where required by law.
4. Access, Correction, and Deletion
Authorized account administrators can request access, correction, export, or deletion of student records by contacting us. Requests are processed subject to legal obligations, security checks, and account ownership verification.
5. Security and Retention
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect student data. Data is retained for as long as needed to provide services, satisfy legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
